yeah you just bassically need a constant live from the battery,if it has a inline fuse theres no much point in tapping it into the fuse box as this is what the inline fuse is there for

I need it to work when the ignition is off, so shall I tap into the courtesy light wire?

U can do if you want, but its easier to just take a tap of any 12v wire in the car

In the process of (trying) to fit the solenoid kit from autoeurope. It's got all the wiring, including a wire with an in-line fuse. How do I connect this wire to a 12v supply? Does it have to be routed through the fusebox? Cheers!
