one of my m8s killed 1st gear with a c20seh in his nova but apart of that it was a cheap, easy to do solution. i wanted check it and know it for future, as some1 might be interested in such a conversion. | |

Andy has around 147-149 lb/ft if I remember rightly. | |

Torque kills boxes not bhp. He wont have more than about 130lb/ft..... He uses a F15 as well no doubt...... | |

I thought the whole big block/small block box differences were actually due to the mounting edges on block/box. Obviously not....... | |

My 1.6 16v TB's conversion destroyed a f13 box. 2.0 16v would last 5 minutes. :lol: | |

it's relatively easy to modify the flywheel and clutch to fit this small gbox to the bigblock. shafts than can be the same as standard. i wanted to make such a thing just to check and i wonder if some1 already done it. |
