It won't be a 9mm jack, probably a 3.5mm jack to phono will do the trick. Remember not to go ott with the i-pods volume etc if it amplifies its output - on my old MP3 player I'd put it on 80% volume.

Best bet it to look at the i-pods output and the pioneers input and get a cable to fit.

Hi ive got a pioneer p6400r headunit (the dolphin one) is it possible to connect a mini disc or an i-pod etc up to it? ive read that a cable has to be purchased to enable me to do this, but how does it work? is it like a 9mm jack to rca , or something like that? please help me if you can and email me if possible with any helpful hints. Cheers everyone mike.
