ok cheers kris! i was talking to rob at ab styling today and he said it may have been down to silicon in the air, which is caused by deoderant and after shave! he said any silicone based products will cause a reaction, so i might try being smelly for a day or so. :)

hmm, ill consult with my dad as he knows slightly more than me, still think you will need to use an isolater though

no it was two pack primer with a single pack acrylic base (black 2).

if this is the case then you need to spray over the primer with an isolater then paint on top of that.

what sort of base coat did you use? sounds like you have used cellulose paint over a synthetic primer.

Hey everyone, i need some advice, ive been spraying some of the parts for my car and i prepared all the things really well and used a 2k primer. When i sprayed the first coat of base over the primer, a reaction occured! anyone know why this was? how can i sort it out?
