Car's warranty expired ages ago, it's the idle control valve that's fuked! It's about the only sensor that's not packed in that usually goes! Mass airflow sensor done under warranty, EGR valve replaced, this done tomorrow, cracked cat, cat fallen off several times, rear wheel bearing, front ns cv joint... Might be more! It's been an eventfull 57000miles, the money I've saved in labour costs from doing my own servicing, i've had to shell out on new sensors and parts! Is it just my car? I dont hear of many other cars which have fallen apart so readily! Wasn't sure about buying a Vauxhaull for this reason & prob wont buy another, next car def German or Jap!

Get the part replaced under warranty, and see if it sorts the problem?

My car's fuked again! Suffering from the same symptoms as when the EGR valve packed in, revving high & eratically, jerky throttle and chugging. It even sounds fuked. EGR valve was replaced with alleged 2nd generation part less than 3 months ago, could it be a return? Could it be throttle sensor? It's about the only thing that usuall goes that hasn't!:mad: Any one else had similar probs? Guess if it had four cyl like a real car it would be ok!:lol:
