Is it the 1.2 16v? From memory both those and the 1.0 12v could not be paper clip tested. There is no pedal test for the B. | |

Right, mechanic had a snap on reader and it came back with 02 sensor voltage low , however the reader wouldn't do a live test so he'll need to hook it up to yet another machine | |

Yeah I had the same thing. The more expensive of the readers mentioned even matched the vin but the car still had none of it haha. | |

Hmmm, well the 16 pin plug is in the fuse box in the car, but reader says can't communicate. Got mechanic coming tomorrow with what he used before so i'll find out what he uses | |

Anyone know why a hand held code reader that is EOBD and OBDII compliant won't communicate with the Ecu? Tried 2 different readers. Garage had to use a different diagnostics to read codes. Not sure what they used. Will the paper clip test work as the pedal on doesn't? Car is First registered in 2000 |
