ET49 is the perfect offset for a wheel no bigger than 15". Anything over that and the wheel starts to rub on the suspension mounts on the inside. ET45 seems to be perfect for 16's and upwards for this. However, for pure performance, 15's are the only size to have. With a 195/45 tyre size. This has the best acceleration and handling, and with the perfect offset of ET49, it means that you can go round corners MUCH better than a car with 17's+ .

Thats cause the perfect Vaux/Opel offset is ET49.But you'll get away with ET45 even with 17's.Just remove the two top bolts from the arches and glue them back on.
