Vauxhall sell them or any 2litre 8v in scrap yard take filter off then remove tye threaded bit from oil pump. I've got one at home I think actually. | |

IIRC, coilpack XE's didn't come with an oil cooler as standard. So yes, you can run 1 without, its not essential. | |

You get a shorter centre bolt remove whats on it now ie sandwich plate then put small centre on and screw filter on job done | |

got a c20xe (redtop) with coilpack, came without oil cooler pipes/rad been told you can run engine ok without, just to put lower water temp stat. is this right?? also got two holes where pipes used to been on the oil filter mount whats the best way to sort this? just put blanks in or take pipe mounting piece out n put new screw in for oil filter?? cheers gav |
