Is that rad of a sport with aircon? I've used a non aircon 1.4 rad on my xe and its perfect

i used my standered 1.4 16v rad on my c20xe with the 12v pipe, but i did have to cut it down slightly

Yes that is a 16v rad, like you've said it needs to be 8v jobbie, which has that tail on the side, not on a angle like yours.

it does look like that mate, but i think its the radiator thats wrong tbh as its a 1.6 16v radiator that im using

wrong pipe by the looks of it mate should twist like that, did u get the corsa c20xe conversion pipes or off a diff car?

faceing the thermostat just past the cam cover though if that makes sence?

what does ur rad look like what i mean at thermostat side is the rad outlet/inlet facing the thermostat or is it facing the drivers headlight ??

im sure ive heard people using the 12v top hose to cure this?

Basicly im using a 16v rad and a jsp hose kit (exactly the same as roose or any of them) but the top hose wont fit atall. Do i have to use a 8v rad? Cant get the bloody thing to fit. People have said they use a 16v rad and the same hose im using but it just ends up twisted and out of shape.
