imagine though if we fellas got an insurance qoute on lets say a 1.2 16v corsa sxi 2003 and it came to £1100, and then a lass got a qoute it would be around £700! have you seen those ads "for women only" in the yellow pages? if there was an ad "for men only" we'd be blasted for being sexist! why!!!!!!!

I am insured with LV, £1200 FC on a 1.0 12v!!! haha
BUt i also had an outstanding accident, but still ridiculous.

If your dad/mum/sibling etc is in the civil service, enquire about the CSMA, My dad was a member and i got a couple of hundred quid off my original quote

PS I am in Belfast, had my car 3 months when it was attempted to be stolen, suppose it could have happened anywhere, but scumbags anyway:mad:

i can give you an example of when i lived in Belfast

when my free vauxhall insurance ran out on my corsa (2yrs NCB from it) they wanted 1900 FC

i moved to the isle of man, and i got them down to 256FC

this was on a group 3 corsa also!

NI is a laugh for insurance, its claim central, if you cut somebody up they can even make a claim, happened to my dad, where apparently the man had to brake heavily causing whiplash to his wife!

lol its a nightmare!! u wudnt believe how hard it is to get insurance over here!! u boys think u have it tough!!??

my first insurance at 19 on a 1.4 93 standard astra was 1700 third party fire an theft!! its nuts!!

very few of the Uk mainland co's will cover NI cos its so high risk as personal injury claims are ludicrous!!
