you dont need to bleed the brakes as theres noway of air getting in, if your pedal is shit you could have pushed the piston back to quickly and damaged the master cylinder.
becareful with cars with abs as to not bleed the abs block dry if you do you will need to get it on the computer to electronically bleed the abs block to open the valves in there

I've never bled brakes after changing just pads TBH.

Would have thought it's just the pads bedding in.

It's due to have all the fluid done at the next service in December

Sheen was ure brake fluid last changed prob better buying a one man bleed system and putting fresh fluid in it

Not at all mate, shouldnt have to bleed it after changing pads anyway but you'll be alright with the abs

Changed the pads on the Alfa last weekend, all went lovely but have taken a while to get the feeling of a decent pedal back again, seems to be getting there now (done 150-200 miles since?). I didn't bleed any fluid off, mainly cos I was a little scared due to the ABS system in it.

Am I safe to crack the bleed nipple open on the two front calipers (one at a time obviously) and bleed a little fluid through just to check for bubbles? Won't fuck up the ABS in any way will it?
