Don't know only know that if something is broken and they set the tracking then there gauge will read as if it is set properly. But if your tyres are wearing out then get it into a garage to be looked at. Got to a garage with a good reputation

kwik fit and national. they both showed me the tracking guages and they were fine.

is it possible it's a shock/spring, or bushes?

i really dont have a clue!

If it's wishbone's they creak like hell over speed bumps. Where have you been for tracking???

haven't noticed it creaking over bumps. actually it might, but i thought that was my seat or the passenger's seat.

any ideas? and where d'ya reckon the best place to go would be to get it fixed? national (www.national.co.uk) or kwik fit?

cheers mate

No, it isn't tracking - tracking has been checked and re-checked and it's perfect.

So, wishbones? Shocks?

It isn't lowered, on standard 14" alloys.

Cheers!

That tracking.

Has a car with broken wishbones once they set the tracking with them broken so tyres wore within 3 months.

People,

I have a Corsa B SXi (X Reg) and it pulls to one side. Basically, it isn't tracking.

I first noticed it when I had wear on the outside wall of my offside tyre (i have standard 14" alloys); had new tyre replaced, tracking done, it was fine but then it started to pull to the right again... checked the tyre, and again, it had worn the outer wall.

I now have the spare wheel on, and it is in my garage and has been for a month and a half, not being driven. I'm taking it to National Tyres (or Kwik Fit, whatcha reckon?!?) tomorra, see what they say... I'm worried in case they can't find anything wrong.

Any ideas folks? I guessing its the wear on the outer wall causing the car to veer to the right. Only seems to do it at higher speeds, less noticable at lower speeds. So something is causing the tyre to wear on the outer wall, and i dunno why.

any ideas??!? Help!

Cheers!
