On X14 and X16 the relay is on the engine loom, right next to the ECU. Yes that relay is also purple, But its just a colour that vauxhall use for that type of relay. | |

When I depressurized the fuel system I took that purple relay out. | |

I replaced the fuel pump relay on my old x16xe gsi and that was purple? | |

Purple relay is not fuel pump relay, its part of the aircon, same with those in the 2nd pic. Its all interlinked with the rad fan, I found the best way was to just keep some of the thick fan wiring (right from the fuse) and then use a early nova rad temp switch with spade terminals and just earth the other side of it via the fan and factory wiring. If you understand that, If you dont, its cos im shit at explaining stuff. | |
