ERRRM is that a mis-print...25" subs!! Just make sure that the volume of the box is correct for the recomended volume of the subs. Generally if you put a sub in a small box it will tend to be 'peaky' and have a steep roll-off at the bottom end 'it wont drop'. The box's for my subs are TINY because of lack of room (0.75cuft for a 12" sub!!) and this means they are peaky, ive eq'd most of it out but if you have the room I always advise you go for the largest size recomeneded for your subs for good 'all-round' flat bass response.

You cant use a 10" box with a 12" sub. It has to be the right size. ma m8 has the JBL gto subs in 25" (only cost him 50quid each) each box has to be 72litres.

Looks like a sealed enclosure to me... ummm... any idea what volume the enclosure is??? looks pretty standard about 1 cubic foot... you could get away with it so long as the sub fits... sealed boxes are very forgiving, so you won't loose to much SQ...

sorry lads bit vague- basically those boxes are pictured with 10" subs- but they do the same enclosure with a 12" hole- was just wondering if it would effect quality going for a 12 in them- basically how much would quality be hampered by using a 10" box with a 12" sub

Erm i dont even know what youre asking mate? Big Enough to provide good sound quality???
Do you mean do the box's have the correct internal volume for the subs to work in?? If so go get the spec's and do the math.
Do you mean big enough as in they will produce enough bass 'output'?
Do you mean large enough volume to give a flat repone to the subs without low end roll-off? Basically you need to be more specific mate.
Im running Two 12" Type R's with 1000 WRMS to them @ 13.5V, Half of what i have is more than enough to produce good SQ i.e i only need to run just one sub and one amp to obtain good SQ. I cant see any problem with youre setup...
