You don't have to buy one, just have a simple bit added in as below;


Ideally do something to extend the bar across the top too but it isn't essential, without it you just get a short lateral movement on the gearstick.

i tried the nova linkage was totally different, i may have a modded one somwere roung the garage if u wanted it. u2u me if u wanted it

Nova linkages are totally different, the ball sockets are different sizes. On the Corsa the selector rod is knurled and the linkage has the clamp fitting but it's the other way around on a Nova.

Seen my mate tonight and he says all you need is part of a nova linkage... done it on 3 of his corsas now and swears by it

I don't see see how you'd get away without using a spacer on the rear mount to be honest.

On mine at least the gap was perfectly filled by 10mm of spacers, so ergo the gear linkage would need to be extended by 10mm.

M Tech make one that is fantastic, it's quick shift as well. £100 with nylon bushes off of LMF. Pics in my project thread.

You need a spacer if you're using a gearbox mount spacer i think

Been reading up and people say you need a spacer and a different linkage and other people say you don't?
