Yeah - Toyo Proxes do 99% of what the excellent Goodyear F1s do, but at getting on for half of the cost.

Deffo, good prices on tyres! I saw mine, 195x45x15's Uniroyal rainsport 1's for £49 inc delivery! They had best average rating out of all that size, inc Eagle F1's at 70! :D If going on to an astra, my girl's folks astra runs 195x55x15's!

Save a couple of quid and get 195 profile, I'm pretty sure thats what they were fitted with originally.

Avon ZZ3 are a great all rounder I have tried loads of different make and found them best over Pirrelli, Yoko's etc.

I haven't tried Toyo Proxes though

I need a complete new set of 4 tyres for my car. Garage wanted £50 each for budget ones, told them where to go. Should be getting some decent rubber from a mate of mine, who is a tyre rep type thing.

I have recently acquired a set of 15" Vauxhall Astra GSi alloy wheels which are going to be sent off to be refurbished next week, but when they come back I need to buy a set of new tyres for them.

What is the best all round tyre to get? I was thinking of Toyo Proxes T1-S?

Tyre size is 205/50/15 by the way.
