put the hex key in the hole, get a hammer and REALLY whack the thing (downwards, so you're not turning the kex key at all), sometimes it helps to unbudge them, also hitting the bolt with the hammer.

Basically they are very tight bolts to undo by hand. And grez, some other troll suggested using pliers and I've done it before cus i have cally leathers. Basically, they're just really tight and difficult to undo

:look:Can you weld mate, when this happend in my van I welded an allen stud into it and loosend it that way, the heat also help`s:thumbs:

i had the same promlem when doing mine 2day mate, get drill just a bit bigger than the tx that is thread'd and drill it so its complete'ly round'd on the inside. then get a tx bit slightly biigger than the drill piece and tap it in to the hole that you have drilled then unscrew, just make sure its a realy tight fit outher wise you do exactly the same. hope this help dude:thumbs:



best comment so far as for using pliers ROOT i take it uve never tryed doing these bolts they are bloody tight

n yea brad if ya drill them out u will need them tapping again

You can probably access one with mollies...but the other is between 2 guide rails so is totally inaccessible, a good thing to do is swap the female hex bolts for male ones and use a drill bit to put them in and take them out.:thumbs:

is the bolt not far enough through the floor to get a hold of it with mole grips , from under the car to slacken it off

ive tried to get it off already. if i drill it out will i have to get it re tapd

that's if you can't get the bolts off, sometimes they get rounded off and snap etc. I used pliers, a hammer, all sorts and got them off finally without even snapping the bolts:cool:

just leave the subframe bolted in and remove the seat from the subframe

ive gone to remove my passanger seat to put sport interior in and the tx bolt the longer 1 is rounded ive tryd to get it out and cudnt any 1 got any ideas thanks brad
