Maybe but it could be that vaux have a policy of charging by the hour so as soon as u start an hour u have to pay for the whole hour no matter if only 15 mins work is actually needed if u see what i mean. Its a rip of but i've heard of it b4, but i don use the vaux main dealer so i dont know for sure. i'd find out b4 doing anything!

alrite cheers mate. So i've got good reason to complain about being charged for an hours labour?

listen it took me and troublesome 20min max to take the panel off... fix the runner and put it back together...this was at the back of uni on a side road with a crappy screw driver. Also sloweed down coz troublesome had just put tints on the window therefore we had to be very careful not to scratch them

so an expert vauxhall mechanic should be able to do it in about 10-15 mins maybe even less.

when my mates car got broken into it took the guy about 20 mins to change the window and put it all back together

right. how long would it take a vauxhall mechanic to take the door panels off, put the window back onto its runners and screw panels back on?
