lol yah its a 1.0 12v, I'm going to vauxhall to get the 'squeeking' noise sorted, so I'll tell them to sort out the rocket cover aswell :thumbs:

on my old 1.0 corsa i had the same problem, didn't fix it though, sold it instead.

ragged it to hard i think.

mine did that i think when u rag them abit it comes out the oil cap or maybe it was spilled when vaux filled it.

nope, willay is right, i just looked in my service booklet, its 20k on the corsa c

head gasket aint gone hes talking pish....there is a gasket in the rocker cover if it comes distorted it will leak or the bolts will need re torqued... nothin serious

by the way it should be serviced every 10k

This could be a silly question but have you looked at the bolts holding the rocker cover on and seeing if any are lose. It happes often with all the vibration the bolts get

rocket cover gasket is gone, hassle them now b4 u get oil allover the engine.

sounds like the head gaskets gone, take it back to vauxhall m8 and get em to sort it (covered by ur warranty) cos if u leave it for to long it may lead to more serious problems. :(

alright there lads, my car aint that old, got it in september, thats when I'm getting its serviced cause i'm no where near 20k on the clock :thumbs: It seems where you actually put the oil in (on the rocket cover) the metal bit below it is leaking, my mums BF said something about vaux need to probly put a new gasket in it, do i wait till my service or bother vaux for it now? apprantly it should be ok till the service.
