i have ET35 15 inch and they did scrub with 195/50 tyres but i imagine 17s will be bad on this offset .

when i say dropped 70mm on the rear, thats 40mm springs and and 30mm lowering sub box :D

35mm had a hell of a diference to 60mm

it rubbed with just me down 60mm so i had to do something about it.

ill have et45 17's lowered 40mm on my 5 door. probably already on down the bodyshop.

I aint geting wide arches.

I dont know about corsa b but i got 7.5x17 et35 with 205-40-17 rubber on corsa c and got no probs

i agrre need majour mods to arches. and coz its a 5 door, rear arches are smaller.

ill let u know how mine gets on 17's et45 lowered 40mm currently in body shop at the mo

On a 5dr I'd say no chance - not without some arch work.

You're looking at some major arch work.I've tried my friends 16's(et35 205/50) and we couldn't even put the rear of the car back on the ground cause we didn't want the rear arch to crack.I have a 5 door -35mm.
