if the pipe is only slightly smaller then make a small cut so u can stretch it over the cone and jubliee clip it all in place.

Just had a quick look under me bonnet, the cone aint gonna fit straight on. The pipe under me bonnet is smaller than the pipe on the cone. Got to make it fit somehow. Ive decided to keep the cossie cone and make it fit. Anyone else fitted this on a 1.6 16v sport?? :boggle: and how:boggle:

It will be louder, you may have slightly different power gains but its negligable.

Just sound different, will sound like a PiperX and because its not made to fit a corsa less people will have it make yours a little bit different.

does it have better power gains? or is it just louder?

Cossie is louder.

Your choice, but I would try and get thew cossie to fit just to be different.

Cheers

Think i might just be better off getting an induction kit to fit.

You'll have to bodge it on, you may need some additional hose to help fit it.
With a turbo car you can fit almost any cone filter easily becasue the filter fits straight to the turbo but with a non turbo car you get a few bits of crap here and there that are part of the air intake so its a bit harder to fit other filters other than the intended ones.
