I'd go for a larger than standard exhaust bore.

Although saying that most 4-2-1 manifolds that I know of are to suit standard exhaust bore unfortunately. I have a BTB manifold for sale that fits x16xe's has a 2.5" bore collector for sale :)

Ive got a 1.4 16v sport and when I fitted the inlet manifold i just had an induction kit and backbox-didnt need an exhaust manifold. It made 103 bhp like this

Right im looking to tune my 1.6 in the following way.

Inlet manifold (mantzel, lexmaul, velos, homemade)
Exhaust manifold
Dibilas pullies
264 cams
ARP rod bolts
raised rev limit
After Market Managment.

With regards to the inlet manifold im obv going to need a 4 2 1 exhaust manifold which i under stand but after that do i need any other pipes or can i keep the standard ones and run them to my back box?

What option would be the best to see the full gains?

Any help much appriciated:)
