im 90% sure its hydraulic as the clutch pedal goes into the master cylinder and has a slave cylinder attached.Ive checked the fluid and its full and it seems to run both the clutch and brakes.

check if it's hydraulic, there might be no fluid left thats why there is no leakage.

Ive been offered an audi 80 coupe on a g plate, its a lovely car but its got a problem.....

When it was last driven, when my mate put his foot on the clutch it went down to the floor and stayed there. You can pull it back up but it doesnt spring back up itself.Since this has happened the car wont select gears at all,its stuck in neutral! If you can get it into gear which is rarely it seems to creep forward no matter how many revs you give it.
There is no signs of the system leaking but im unsure if its hydraulic or not.
The engine is the 2.3 lt 20v with a manual 5spd box.

Any Ideas??
