Sometimes the mounting bolt is loose and the sensor isn't sitting snug. Check this before putting a new one on :)

Hi all,

My car has developed a problem and I have been told its the crankshaft sensor which im going to replace this weekend.

I was told though that I might also have a camshaft sensor between the cams and apparently if the crankshaft sensor goes it overloads the camshaft sensor so ill have to replace that too.

Does anyone if thats true or not and if my engine has a cam shaft sensor or not please.

Many thanks
