As long as you have a working horn, no matter where it is...you will pass the MOT.

Different setup on the boss...and if you had an airbag boss with that steering wheel your horn would be working.

You'll probably find you have issues cancelling your indicators too...

I had the same problem, tried to run my own loom to the horn and all that happened was the wires eventually wraped round the boss and woudn't work.

The spiril thing with the orange bit on the end it is the loom for the original horn, I even tried to use that with the boss but agin it fucked up.

in the end I just mounted a push button next to the light switches. Passed the MOT fine.

I have been told that momo make a boss specific for the s/wheel but don't know how much it cost.

got a problem, got fed up of my old shitty looking wheel

its a 1.4 sri 16v

the wheel with the airbag and the 2 horn buttons

so got a wheel of my mates gsi, its a aftermarket one, looks like a sparco one with the push button horn, but i cant get the damn horn 2 work

i'll post pics if it makes it easier to explain?

anyone got ideas, when i removed the wheel it had a black ring with the big orange connector going onto it,

basicly what do i need to do to get my horn working

or is it a last resort of running wires from the horn am making my own loom lol

any ideas/ sugestions greatly appreciated,

cheers
