Yes it will rub if your mounts are bodged like yours :o :lol:

Mine has plenty clearance and has never touched the body :thumbs:

well i know i couldn't fit the multi rib belt on mine as the alternator pulley would touch or be verry close to the body.

No bother mate :thumbs: Much easyer than changing pullys etc plus looks better with a thicker belt :thumbs:

Yea the way i measured was to get the old (long belt) and cut it then wrap ait round the alt pully and bottom pully then mark with tip ex (or similer) to the size you need, then took it to my local factors and got a belt the same size :)

No the pump is off, all you need to do is meassure what you need and get a belt to fit :thumbs:

No the pump is off, all you need to do is meassure what you need and get a belt to fit :thumbs:

not sure mate ive got the belt that was on it. its not the engine with the double pulley though

right i hope some1 can help me with this 1..


my c20xe engine is all ready to be fitted to the car.

i need to take the power stearing pump off as its not need so means i need a smaller belt but which 1 some 1 must of done this befor or is there another way



PLEASE HELP ME
