I used Silicon Remover. Just dab it on and in 15 minutes everything comes of.
You can get it from Screwfix website for about 3 nuggets

I GOT THE STICKY STUFF OFF WITH A HAIR DRYER AND ALOT OF THUMB WORK...TOOK A WHILE BUT IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL NOW AND WAS WELL WORTH DOING IT!
I HAVE USED T CUT TO GET THE PAINT NICE AND SHINY AND ALSO USED BRASSO WHICH WORKED WONDERS.

my had faded thats why ur left with the shawdow mark to get the sticky crap off just use tar remover i did then t-cutted it hope this helps

i got the badges and side strips off but im left with loads of that sticky stuff on my car howd i get it off easier?


also theres a lot of faded paint behind the badges will this paint shine up like new if i put some lacquer on it?
