yes. check for air leaks after the AFM and check things like condition of plugs etc...

It had a new TPS, CTS and AFM not too long ago.

Am I right in saying black smoke is overfuelling?

Dodgy idle in a morning, if it does idle at all.

Not for me, my cousin who bought the XE. I think it's given up :lol:
