sounds like youve trapped a wire somewhere

Did you take out and refit the entire dashboard? Or do you just mean the clocks?

is there possibly another dash wire shorting out somewhere?

further investigation reveals the clocks and their wiring is fine, the 10a fuse that is in there goes everytime i put it in, any suggestions?

help, whilst refitting my dash, i managed to knock out the dashboard, the lights work to light up the dash but the tachometer doesnt work and the mfd is dead, the lights in the centre console dont work either.
