Use Vectra exhaust clamps, they are a lot stronger and shorter.

get some ford focus hangars for it,

and if your scared of the sponge going on fire then get some heat reflective gaffer tape

lol, i had a sebby zaust put on and the retards at ripspeed (AA) couldnt fit it for shit, i had to take it to quick fit today to get it fitted properly, twats.

the clamp was turned round the wrong way and not done up properly, no new rubber mouts put on...blah

Just take the whole exhaust off, will stop the banging and will sound wicked.

aye gaffer tape a sponge to the trailing arm where its bangin

also turn the exhaust clamp 90 degree so that the bolts point horizontal

I think thats what the banging is. There is only a gap of about 40mm between the exhaust and trailing arm. Is there anything I can put between them to silence the noise?
