The site above doesn't work very well.. I'm trying to find out what offset the Mk4 Astra is. Is it the same ET49 as the Corsa? | |

How come you cant change the inlet manifold? I take it that it is different from the one on the corsa's then? | |

The XEL engine in the Mk4 isn't one you can change the inlet manifold on though unfortunately. | |

I think it is the X16XEL engine in there, pretty much the same as the X16XE, but with less power! Still has the same restrictive inlet I believe. | |

Hi everyone, Hopefully if I manage to sell my Corsa this week I will be getting a 1.6 Astra SXi. Just wondered if anyone has any information they can give me on modifying this car. I would like to know the do's and don't of the engine and so forth. Also will the Ecotec engine in the Astra suffer the same problems as the Corsa if I put an induction kit on it. |
