how about some 40mm springs that are progressively wound, designed to work with standard dampers and very very comfortable?

generally spax/gmax/pi (cheap) springs are very harsh when fitted without uprated dampers.

Aye, you will get 2 fronts and 2 rears.

My gmax springs on my old corsa worked well, made the car handle better and the ride was spot on!

Yeah, coilovers are expensive. Just get springs for now, then save like a bitch for the coilovers.

Keep an eye out on the classifieds on here, i picked up a set of -40mm springs for £20 delivered.

It should improve the handling a bit, as the car wont be on stilts. However, since its only springs, the standard shocks will have a hard time with it, and the ride wont be very good.

By all means, buy the springs, but for real handling, save up for some decent coilovers.

Hi Ppl,

looking @ getting some of these springs to lower my car by 40mm,

http://www.potn.co.uk/c1473_1589_1590_1623_p1250427.htm

I have been told that I won't get the full benefit because I need to get the full kit although I don't have that much £££ to spend?

I will still be able to feel that my handling has improved???? :boggle:
