Cheers for the mate! Will give it a go tomorrow morning before work.
Just another question. I'm guessing the wire for the Aerial is the grey thing sticking up at the back of the hole.
It won't stretch any further, how do I get that to plug into the new cd player? Or will it just slide in (it wont seem to slide in the old cd player now since i removed it and attempted puttin it back!).

Oh, wait now.
Just unplug the sony one from the corsa loom, and plug the panasonic one in. The conenctor is at the back left of the hole, pull it out, and plug the new one in :)

You can either buy a panasonic to vauxhall ISO adpater, or cut the block and join onto the panasonic connector.
I would suggest just buying a panasonic ISO cable.

Wrong part of the Forum.
Just realised.

My new CD Player arrived today, and being a complete n00b, I thought "pull the old one out, shove the new one in".
However, as most things in life, it wasnt that simple.
I have now fked up my radio (the antenna must not plug in the back.). I did have a Sony CDR500 series (still do!).
I've discovered the wires don't fit my new fancy panasonic cd player. I'm pissed off with myself if I'm being honest.
The connector which connects into my new panasonic cd player is much smaller than the one that connected into my sony one.
How do I make it so it all fits and works so everyone is happy.
Pics
The power end?...
The bit that plugs into the cd player (smaller than the sony thing)...
What the unit looks like:
