cos me dad got given it, and me dad (like anyone) would take it anyway if it had no wheels! Spoke to someone yesterday and they said it could be a loose wire on the battery, so I will get that checked out before I buy a new battery........

the battery may not be the right amperage for the alternator.

I have recently aqquired a Corsa 1.4SL becasue I totalled my old Rover 216 SLI 16V:o. The battery light on the Corsa comes on everytime I rev the engiene, thinking this was a alternator issue, I went out and bought a brand new one (£120!!). Fit the new alternator and the problem still persists......Has anyone had this problem before? I mean it may be a faulty switch, light, sensor....god knows.....anyone with any input would be gladly received:thumbs:
