I have A Spare Ecu from my X14Xe(should be the same) that has just been reconditioned by autotekelectronic's I could sell you if you want?

No, car runs fine, doesn’t bog down or stick of petrol.....I took it out last night and the light doesn’t come on when standing or revving, only when moving....also the light "flickers" like a loose connection!... the engine did get very wet last week, had rain on it most of the day.... when i was working on it.

I had Quad drive fault come up on my ecu and EVERYONE was saying replace the ECU!

Check all the earth points as that what cause mine to come up!

i had a quad drive module fault on a car - new ECU required

does the car run fine, then just boge down, then stink of petrol???

Hi

The wifes 1600 Tigra has logged a fault 1640, it starts and runs fine but the fault indicates that there is a fault with the knock control unit or quad drive module....was wondering where these are, and if the knock control can be fixed or how much to replace, and what the hell is a quad drive module.
