Have you ever tried to drill through a wheel stud?

agreed 99% are shit

However i had a 200sx in the other week and some kind person had already removed the front two but not the rear 2.

Well I got one off after 2 hours, the other one after 3 hours I gave up and took it too a tyre place who had 3 hours on it and its still fast.

You cant get anything around the outside of them at all, they are recessed into the wheel about an inch and a half, and you just cant get a drill bit too touch the bolts.

Unless u have a spare alloy wheel, u prob wont need it. If you do have a crash, just ring the AA, thats wot u pay them for. Good place if you really do want to carry it is in the tool kit in the spare wheel well. Its in ur car but too difficult to risk getting at for a thief.

If a thief really wants ur wheels, he'll get em off without the key afterall no locking key is totally individual, two of my mates bought the same locking bolts from different stores in the local area, n e way turns out they fit each others bolts.

Manafacturers have a master set of keys for all factory fitted bolts so if the thief really was that desperate to get the wheels they could. Why the fuck they dont just take the car is beyond me but... thats why their robbing little pricks and were not!

I not worried that anyone may or not be a theif - merely concerned that you are dicussing this in a open forum which could be abused by any unwelcome visitors to Corsasport!

Don't give any crimnal an easy ride - chop their hands off so they won't do it again!

Was thinking of drilling a hole thru it and putting on keyring but might be a bit bulky. Not even sure its necessary to carry one, think 3x16"s and one 13" might provide one or two problems!!

Yeah chill Ed. Was an interesting question actually cos I've often wondered the same. Although in hindsite (which is a wonderful thing) prolly wasn't summet you can discuss on a forum

I carry mine in my wallet but it's a bit of a hassle at times.

This has to be the most stupid question EVER asked on Corsasport in my 5 years of coming on here!

put it in a condom and swallow it. You;ll have to retrieve it now and then and give it a good wash but at least you'll know where it is

it's not worth me takin my wheel off, got no spare!! just two cans of lovely tyre weld!!! :)

yeah thats great. everyone post where they keep them.

possible ideas
*in spare wheel well
*under chair
*under rear seat
*in engine bay
*behind rear clusters
*in astray

tbh mate if they want your wheels they aint even gonna bother looking for your key, it would take more time. they'd just take your locking wheel nut off, they aint hard to get off since most people hand tighten them.

Bit of gay question, but can't think of anywhere the theif won't look. My cars all alarmed up so I guess it would be pretty safe anywhere, but like to be sure. Its been sat in the house since I bought the wheels but if I get a puncture I'm phucked. :o
