It shouldn't affect your no claims, check if your policy covers it then ring the window/windscreen company and they should should do it for £50 and take your policy details.

had same problem. had it done but watched them, remove all glass etc. remove outer black rubber, insert new window with a window glue stuff. try halfords? stick window in, and push in, reapply rubber and leave to set for 24 hours, you can drive it, but dont go over bumps/potholes at speed as it will pop out,etc. hope this helps

It should'nt effect your premium it depends how you claim for it, i would double check though as its always insurance dependant with things like this. ring them dont give any details and find out.

last night my car got broken into, they smashed the rear passenger side window (it's a 3 - door, so it's a fixed window),

does anyone know whether i'd be able to replace it myself, or whether i'd have to get a professional. i've got quotes for around £100 which seems a bit high in comparison to just having to buy the screen from the scrapyard.
