mine went completly dogdy after i changed the bulbs in it, had to whack it to stay on and not flash, eventually it just died

It was working last night but stopped again this evening so it is a loose connection -but which one!

maybe a loose connection my bulb displaying the time is very dim and in daylight cannot be seen @ all where as at night its very clear.

I checked the 2 bulbs and they work fine

I know its supposed to dim and about the rotary switch beneath the headlight switch but the MFD can't be seen at all with lights on
Anyone know of an easy fix or is there a wire I can cut behind the MFD that disables the dim function?? This will mean it will be brighter but better than not seeing anything!!
