check the basics first, make sure you have the right firing order, check your getting a strong spark through to all the plugs. Maybe compression test if you have a tester?

QDM comes up either when knock control circuit is present,or when ecu is fudged

Done the knock sensor and reset the ecu but to no affect. Any other suggestions. Could it be something as simple as HT Leads?? Or would they show up fault codes?

Could it be the knock sensor? While the engine was out i painted the block and i can't remember if i rubbed off the paint before fitting the knock sensor. Could this be my problem??

i would get a spare ecu and try that

Hi Everyone, Just rebuild my x16xe with lots of goddies in & on it. But it's got a mis-fire sometimes on tick over and anything over a 1/4 throttle.

Had it put on tech1 and it constantly comes up with 'Quad Driver Module'???????????:boggle: He said it's too do with the either the ECU or the Wiring???????? What shall I Do???????? PLEASE HELP
