thanx chris/dan/rich for help shall investigate with cheaper optins first as stated.

where is the crank sensor located and and how much do they cost

I would start with the easy stuff to rule that out!, so plug/plug gap, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and coil pack.

Mine used to do the same, occasionally would skip a beat, and i changed all of the above including crank sensor, o2 sensor, i cant exactly tell you what sorted it as it was part of a rebuild but it does not do it now. but it is a process of elimination and if you start iwth the cheaper stuff then you might sort it at a low cost!

why be a bunch of wankers carl is asking a gen question if you have nothing better to say shut the fuck up!

as for the problem it could be a few things like coil pack, leads, plugs, injector or even a crank sensor if you get stuck mate let us no
