no its always been the same AK , i was hoping new plugs would improve it , the pack is bolted down too m8

I was also hoping that you guys would say ,


" its normal for a 3 pot 1ltr to have to turn over for 2 to 3 secs before firing up "

are the coilpacks seated correctly/plugs firmly in place? Did this happen after the new plugs?

ps when i say turns i mean turns of the starter motor / engine , no the key itself

new plugs , and there are no leads on the 1ltr , :)

check your plugs and leads

in all fairness it should fire after 1 or 2 turns

Ive noticed when starting my 1999 1ltr , it seems to take a few good turns to start up , almost to the point where you think its not going to fire up , battery is fine , serviced all ok ,


Is this normal for this model ? or is there something afoot ?
