Have a stone hit them and they will shatter into increadibly sharp pieces which will probably fly into your eye.

Perspex windows  You'd have to be an idiot to fit perspex windows. Saying they aren't as strong as polycarb is a massive understatement! Perspex = Acrylic = BRITTLE!

quote: perspex shatters and snaps easily as is it a harder material than polycarb. polycarb flexes alot more and gets it strength from that. which also means you cant smash it to get in the car!

looking on the plastics 4 performance website they seem to favour perspex for track day use

car will be used for track days, and the ocasional weekend blast, car isnt garaged but is covered so security may also be an issue, but then i suppose there aint really anything to nick in it and steering wheel is always removed so qite tricky to steal it.

Right I have had a price of £170 for a full set of perspex windows which is much cheapness however im told they are not as strong as poly carb, so my question is it worth the extra £100 or so for poly carb |
