theres a hole on the throttlebody plate (must be from the EGR valve), so you blank that off? what happens if you leave it to vent to the atmosphere?

so..on the x16xe...do i actually need the small blanking plate there too??

the egr is blanked off on the inlet manifold as the old egr feed is underneath the throttle body which isnt there anymore.

why do you need to blank off the egr? why can't you just leave the egr valve on? unless if increases bhp

the big blanking plate on the side of the lower manifold??.......hmm, i attached the vaccume thingy to that and an earth......

i havent attached anything to the egr blanking plate tho :(

read the codes....i got:

erg valve innactive and TPS sensor reading low volatge...

but the tps could be from a long time ago - in live readings it seems to be working properly...

I have the feed to the Mantzel box from the EGR takeoff on mine. It has been there since it was fitted.

For the first couple of months, the EM light came on quite often. Now it doesn't.

it will come on and off all the time, its a common problem with mantzels. get the code read properly its likely to be the egr. if so you need to take a feed from the egr blanking plate where the tb used to sit and plumb it into the mantzel box.
