i know the diesel rev counters are slow as i had one in mine, shows 1k on the limiter lol

got another 2 instrument clusters at home, ill try some of the others. only thing is this ones have white dials. o well..

If they were out of a diesel they would still work, there would be no issues with them, just the scale would be completely wrong. If they are out of a 3 cyl engine then they wouldn't work.

Best think to do would be to get a set of clocks out of the same year car as yours. The ECU light will more than likely be because there is a fault with the vehicle speed sensor.

I have seen loads of 1.0's with rev counters in them :)

yeah 1.0 special editions did come with rev clocks. dunno wot car they came from to be honest... would this be the reason why the engine management light is on?? wot type of clocks to i need???

hey, i changed the clocks today in my 1.2 8v to ones with a rev counter. clocks are the correct 0-130 for the car, but when i fitted them the engine management light came on and wont go out.The rev counter isnt working correctly. it goes up but at very most it revs to 1k when the cars prob about 4/5k. ne one ne suggestions???
