yeah mine was just ok on idle, but once revved up it went well over acceptable limit :(

try cleaning your lambda sensor, dip it in petrol for few hours!

but if its fecked its fecked apparently!

my gsi fialed on emmisons today :mad: cant be arsed fixing it tho becusasde i'm putting a xe in there, but need it fixed so i can mot and tax it :(

it is running rich!

the lambda/o2 sensor was black when i took it out! apparently it should be grey! meaning its running rich!!

i think i need a new sensor!!

yeah i know mate, anyway ive sprayed some inlet cleaner "10k boost" and cleaned the o2 sensor and changed spark plugs, hopefully that will help it pass!!

as i said at idle it was ok but when he revved it up it was over the limit!!:boggle:

fact its burning oil will be a major issue & will knock emmisions for six...

once again, the GSi failed on emmisions!!!! :(:(

the CAT and o2 sensor is only a year old as i changed them last year and then it passed the mot back then!!

was advised to change spark plugs and use an air intake cleaner and clean the o2 sensor with some petrol?

what could be wrong???
it does burn and leak loads of oil so maybe that clogged up the sensor, and the induction kit probably sucks in laods of crap over the year clogging up the intake? what you guys reckon?
also would it be worth putting on the old airbox for the mot??
