found the problem, only half a bolt holding the anti roll bar on!
should be two with nuts! could have been nasty

yeah, listen to Ainsley

wheel bearing would make a whining/groaning noise all the time

it sounds very much like the ball joint :)

not a big deal to replace, half an hour in a garage, plus the cost of the part, not too expensive

lower ball joint

ok, well the calliper is moving as is the wheel and it knocks. and it pulls to the left an awful lot. il try jacking up later then

Jack the car up and wobble the wheel side to side, get a friend to put his hand on all the seperate components (ball joint, track rod end etc) to see where the play is coming from. It sounds unlikely to be bearing from what its doing.

from side to side? (hands at 3 and 9 o clock) if so then its likely to be track rod ends.

up and down (12 and 6 o clock) is likely to be bottom ball joint or bearing

my left front wheel goes back and forth quite willingly with my hand pushing it!

im guessing its the wheels bearing..

are all corsa sets the same?:boggle:

how much and where from?
