Yea, if thats the case, then you will have to get another one.

Look on ebay if you don't mind waiting, its a lot cheaper!

the headunit was my dads at first but he only had it in his car for a day because he didnt get on with it, it was givemn to him from his insurance, i think he must have left the alpine adaptor connected to his car.

Halfords can order them in for you, but they are £29.99 and only special order, so you would be waiting until at least Tuesday now.

Ok, you should have a separate wiring loom in the box then, that connects from the Vauxhall to the Alpine connectors. It will have the right one for the Vauxhall ISO on one end, and a small rectangle on the other end, about the size of 1/2 the ISO, but with 16 pins in if I remember rightly.

Don't forget to swap the red and yellow around as well to keep the settings.

erm, the vauxhall iso connector is sqaure and the alpine headunit i have has a rectangle slot in the back, i cant see how anythings been butchered because the corsa i had before had the same iso connector from the car, the headunit ive got just seems to have a different connection to most headunits??

is it a corsa c you have? upto 03/04 it should be standard iso so the alpine loom should plug straight in (if it hasnt been hacked about)

03/04 onwards you will need an autoleads PC2-85-4 have a look here its the one right at the bottom

http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/install/show_model.asp?id=281

if its a corsa B it should be a standard iso plug and the alpine loom should plug straight in (if it not been butchered)
