apart from normal servicing done (regular changes)...only rocker cover gasket was changed

Make sure there isnt a breather pipe off and its sucking air in somewhere.

i also had the camshaft cover gasket changed...anything to do with this? :boggle::boggle:

idle control valve / sensor or something like that i believe?? Im sure some one else will correct me.

had one wher the rubber pipe at the back joining upper and lower inlets had split caused it to idle high.

1.4 16v was fully serviced some 2 weeks ago.

Since then, the car revs at 900 instead of 800 (that's not a problem) but why does it rev by itself between 900-1300?:boggle:and that too at idling? wasnt like that before service

any help and opinion much appreciated...thanks
