would stall first then belt on the pump and alternator would stop causing the steering to go heavy this is perfectly normal you wanna be checking why your car stalled / cutout

Was out in the car the other day there.
When i went round a corner it felt like the PAS just died..
Steering went really heavy then it stalled.
Then for 3 or 4 times i tried to start it and the car shuddered and stalled again..
Weird thing is its not done it again since.

Any ideas what happened?

I drive a 1.4 sport by the way if that makes any difference.

Cheers guys,
Chris.
