Aluminium... should be fine though - I'm fixing a Rover after it suffered head gasket and it's got loads of chips etc.

As long as it doeasn't introduce any gaps/spaces between gaskets/pipes it should be fine mate.

No pics but thers one or 2 little marks/scratches about 2mm maximum.

Must be made of really soft metal !

any pics? mine has a big chunk missing from when i drilled the head bolt out that snapped, no leaks tho, depends where the damage is really

Noticed that theres a very slight chip to the cyliner head of my x16xe ( where the cams sit)

Cant see it being a problem as its no where near the rocker cover gaskets , therefore not letting any air/oil in/out .
